can't remember for the life of me who this was, but recently (I'd say the past year) some random female mc/singer had a song & video out that wasn't half bad. sounded like she grew up on Lauryn. I think she had a lil afro & I remember in the video she was singing by a chain link fence & inside a corner store with some guy
