"10 Song Albums: Wish we could go back to these days man!"
I was putting some things in storage and looked at some of my old albums, records, tapes etc. I noticed some of my favorite albums had 9-10 songs on it. Less room for error, you couldnt be lazy, no filler, no skits....hit play and a song came on....9-10 songs later the album was over. Even some R&B/Soul/Pop was like that. Run DMC Self Title, Paid In Full, By All Means Necessary, Illmatic, I believe 36 Chambers had like 11 songs. Even Common tried with BE and though it's not a classic, he left bad songs off. (I believe Off The Wall, Thriller and a few Marvin Gaye albums had 10 tracks)......So...
1. What do you think about 10 song albums? 2. Would you like to see more artist back to this? 3. What type of artist would do well with this? 4. How many tracks is too many for you? 5. Random post comment...
