well its a day early, but i am listening to some pep to celebrate. i clearly remember my college roomie turning me on to ascension back in 2001, and it clicked instantly. when his album dropped early last year, that was probably the most anticipated album in my entire hip hop history, along with the renaissance. and it did not disappoint at all.

which album takes the cake for you? both are incredibly strong, but i think i go with ascension simply for the sake of nostalgia and that i've had more history and times with those songs.
