Never underestimate the effect of losing your entire record collection and finished beats can have a sample-based hip-hop producer. That shit can be damn near impossible to recover from. The flood forced him to come up with a whole new album's worth of beats, he decided to go with the "digital" sound/Bobby D.I.G.I.T.A.L. persona, and never really recovered.
The flood also fucked off what probably would have been a great RZA-produced Deck solo album (though I think "Uncontrolled" is kinda unfiarly shit on) and a RZA-helmed U-God album (which probably would have been the worst of the eight, but at least the beats would have been dope).
