I'm a huge Prince Po fan. I agree he was a steady presence. I agree he was underrated and he same GREAT overlooked verses on the OK albums. I'll admit he handled his fucking business on the entire "Equinox" album. Hell, I'll even say that he out-did Monch on "Godsend" on the "Internal Affairs" album. But I won't be able to get with any revisionist "He was the better MC in the group" talk. Monch was just better. He had some mind-blowing verses and he never with 20 miles of wack. And Monch's best was better the Po's best. I could and have said Monch was #1 and Po was #1a, but that's as far as I'll go.
When it comes to solo albums, Po's first is the only one that I gave any run. And I liked it, sometimes quite a bit, but it was pretty flawed. I've posted here that I'm a little disappointed that Monch never dropped the solo album I thought he was capable of dropping, but his solo albums are better. And besides, "We Are Renegades" is a really damn good album.
