it's so weird. b/c i am a huge MJ fan.
everybody that knows me knows this about me.


and i have 0 shame about this.




















well... maybe i DO have SOME shame about this,
b/c whenever i see footage of MJ fans camping outside of hotel rooms (do these people have jobs?)

or releasing doves after his aquittal (let's think about this...
she fed and maintained and cared for these doves
for the specific purpose of letting them go when the verdict came)


i can't help but wonder,
deep down inside...




am i like that?
is THIS what i look like to other people? lol









and the thing is, i totally understand
why folks love MJ that much.

i absoultely relate to the fact
that these artists changed people's lives in a profound way.

in my heart, i completely understand where they are coming from.
(much like i understand star wars nerds, or folks that
love "the matrix" to an obsessive degree.)






at the same time,













seriously?

my fellow MJ fans scare me.

and im amazed that MJ was as well adjusted as he was
considering the fact that he had folks like the lady w/ the doves
coming up to him in the street...








i sometimes feel the same way
about fellow prince fans.

and it blows me away that a sizeable section
of prince fans and MJ fans have some sort of beef w/ each other.

i swear, they can both be awesome at the same time,
and they really have very little in common aside from the fact
that they are both black.


but that's another post.
