and I remember people of my generation constantly whining about how our music "isn't real music"... I was never that extreme myself, but I was still pretty sure that this was not music that would endure for the ages and be revered retrospectively.

But today here we are with a 90s revival gathering steam and YouTube comments talking about "Man I wish I was born in the 90s when they had REAL MUSIC and TALENT not like the garbage we have to listen to now smh"
