I'm so overwhelmed I just kind of give up half the time haha. I delayed getting a Spotify account until like 2013 for this exact reason. It allowed me to limit my consumption to only those artists/albums I anticipated most.

Once I got Spotify I noticed that the albums I truly enjoyed have been few and far between. Kind of sad really. I think age plays into it as well but there is a pretty clear correlation between my enjoyment of albums and when I got my Spotify premium account. Nowadays I save a bunch of albums, get overwhelmed, put off listening to any of them ... then bulk-listen to a bunch of them over the course of like a week and fully digest very few of them.
