"Roxanne Roxanne (Roxanne Shante biopic) on Netflix"
Sat Mar-24-18 04:59 AM by Boogie Stimuli

I caught her talking about this hitting the 'flix
on her Breakfast Club interview:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0x75It6ZtOo
and I rushed to check it out at my first convenience.
It's decent for a Netflix biopic.
As with most biopics, it's alotta info crammed
into a short amount of time, so I found myself
wishing it was a miniseries. She definitely had
an interesting life.
The whole thing is very 80s... not just the clothing
a hairstyles but the way the movie was made.
I enjoyed it.

Nia Long and Mahersala Ali are in it
Forest Whitaker and Pharrell listed as producers
Score by RZA
