I've been listening to grime off and on for about 7 years now
is it just me or has the use of "nigga" really started to pop up in songs a good 100% lately? before it would be the odd song or two but now its like every 3 or 4 songs. I dug into the big grime playlist on spotify (really fucking good) last night to get amped while I did chores.
On one hand....fuck it. they are living the same reality as black americans on lots of levels.
On the other hand...I feel weird as fuck hearing them use it
If I had three hands...we kinda gave that shit away
