"To Dog, or not to Dog, That is The Question....."

So i'm thinking about getting a dog. Gave it some thought last year then said "eh"

But I sort of would like to have some life in the house. Only thing killng me is what type of dog, and what to do with them during the day when I'm at work. I guess I'd have to crate train, as I don't want a dog walker coming in my house during the day.

Then I guess I gotta expense for vet visits, toys, accessories and food. Cool.

Most likely would get a small dog. Think beagle, pug, jack russell terrier.

Probably get something from the rescue that's already been somewhat trained.

Also I'm a little nervous cause I would be a first time pet owner.

So talk me into or out of it.
