>1) we're equals, Im not about to take the heat for BigJazz
>fucking up, so I speak up. to some people that's snitching

if my equal fucked up, it'll be apparent. my work speaks for me. their work speaks for them. no need to say a word. it'll all come to light

>
>2) BigJazz has a very small step of seniority over me and
>doesnt want to work to make my job easier. Do I go to my
>direct supervisor?

somebody that's slightly higher on the food chain won't do anything to make my job easier. i don't see a need to say nothing here either. i can see talking directly to the offender and telling them what's on my mind
>
>3) I had to fix shit because BigJazz put the A files in the B
>cabinet (metaphor), then I noticed he did it again even though
>fixing the second case wasn't my responsibility
>
>two of those three things happened today at work

this is another thing that can be handled by talking to the person fucking up. why bring other parties into it?

look man, you fuckin up the TPX reports and i'm tired of fixing them. do you just not know how to do it or you just don't give a fuck?

if they need schooling, i'll school 'em. if they give less than a fuck, i gotta ask if it's my job to fix his mistakes. if it's not, i'm not fixing em no more. if that is my job, i'm sure reporting my findings is also part of fixing what i find.

so in that scenario, snitching is built-in to the job description...
