Because I’m more empathizing with the parents and that community for their experience than anything
That’s the dark I feel
I think about those children pretty consistently
Like a few times a week.
And I worry about gun control and how no place is safe
I have a niece that’s only four who’ll be in school school soon
A sister who’s a high school teacher
And my child who’s years away, but that date feels more ominous than anything else.
