I'm not saying Obama won without whites, or that racists voted for Obama.
I'm saying they (racist 'Muricca)were a lot more angry than I even thought...cue Tea party, tiki torches, Trump, etc.
They are also very encouraged that one of them is in the white house, etc.
So...
The question then could/would Booker inspire enough other people to overcome that racist energy? Obviously Obama overcame a lot, but I don't think the other side was this motivated in '08.
And lets be real, some of those midwesterners gave the black guy a shot, and it backfired in their minds.
So can Booker not only overcome what Obama had to overcome, but actually more resentment, etc?
I doubt it. I got tricked by his "Bring It" moment, then came back to earth.
In addition to his trying-too-hard persona, I don't think the Dem base gets excited for a guy so tied to big Pharma, etc.
To get real specific, does Booker win Ohio? Florida? WI? VA? I doubt it.
