In now way am I looking to contradict you, attack you, or anything like that. Bored at work and just typing out my thoughts.
Not to say he's leading the charge on the communal aspects by rapping about it and taking his other stances like the fight against the justice system and bail, but he's at the forefront seemingly doing his best to show us all how to get shit done. Isn't that to benefit the community in some way, shape, or form?
That leads to the bootstrap nationalism. We have the responsibility to pull us out of the doldrums and through the BS that we know is already set against us. That responsibility is to fight it as many levels as we can especially since we have more financial clot than we ever had. Reshaping our individual and collective paradigms about finances is damned sure one way to uplift the Nation. I'm really getting to the point, as I'm getting older, where my belief about the government being there to do anything for us is a futile one. It's up to us is how I'm really feeling.
As he says on one of the album's songs, "Fuck living rich and dying broke!"
