Not just new to me. Especially on college campuses.
Maybe activists wanted to employ them in the past and were unsuccessful? But now they have the power to influence administrators, get people fired, and to intimidate the opposition.
There has been periods of social change brought on by methods like this. But, for the most part, they weren't good changes
