..and i want to listen to him and hear what he has to say, but when he says the water he was drinking has a pH of 9 and high levels of oxygen and high levels of hydrogen ions....my basic chemistry and biochemistry can't nod to that...

If I'm wrong let me know...but hydrogen ions are associated with low pH levels (acidity)
It just doesn't add up to me...

And I always hit a wall when I ask for an explanation about alkaline diets etc...what I'm being told doesn't match what basic chemistry says....at least to my understanding...
