i understand your interpretation. i haven't assumed she's queer b/c i agree that even a heterosexual woman doesn't necessarily dress to please men and doesn't have to consider herself or her existence as being for male consumption. based on the totality of the circumstance of that Tweet i figured that was her point - that she doesn't need to dress in a way that any particular man finds sexy b/c she doesn't exist for male consumption. i found her stance refreshing and it increased my respect for her and her artistry.
