like all of you guys make beats & everything and im sure you all have dreams...
but have you have stopped and realized that the greatest BEATMAKER (im not even going to talk about him as a producer) of all time next to maybe primo was unsigned, had no offers to be signed and didnt work with ANY major label artists except for common.

so if dilla couldnt get a deal or work with major label mc's,
where does that put you?

unless you're some annoynamous negro from down south working with a rapper whos name is prefixed by young or lil - u might as well forget about ever being signed/getting your beats on a major label project/making a career out of music.

edit: i guess the 1 exception i overlooked is 9th wonder & the little brothers, but lets be realistic - anyone can tell that come 2008 they won't be signed anymore.
