>>How am I gullible because I >>think tupac is one of >>the greatest of all time. > >You're backtracking. Now its one of >the greatest. I said he >wasn't THE GOAT and I >said why quite effectively. You >haven't been able to give >me a reason why he's >the GOAT yet.
To me hes the greatest along with Krs, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap, Slick Rick and LL. Yes I consider him a legend and speak his name in the same breath as the rest. When I mention those individuals it goes beyond ranking them because there all special. The reason I didnt bring those names in the argument before is because I was pleading the case for Pac.
>>While you sit there and >>rant with a none effective >>argument on how he is >>doesnt have the skills to >>be considred a goat. Did >>you write the book on >>MCing did I miss something >>Rakim is that you or >>maybe its Krs-one im replying >>to. >>Your a clown its alright I >>know its tuff being the >>idiot you are but I >>accept you even if no >>on else does. > >You know what? I'm going to >end this right now b/c >I'm getting rather sick of >your posturing. You are correct >in mentioning Rakim and KRS >in your post if you >want to get into a >discussion of who the true >GOAT is, but thats about >all you've been correct on.
First chill out I didnt take the Pac zombie thing personal dont take what I say back to you personal I thought your insults were funny. I dont no you and you dont no me so its nothing personal were just debating our points with a twist of humor I thought.
>You say I've been ranting. All >I've been doing is dissecting >your hero and laying out >the good and bad. I >understand that you can't really >think on the level that >I'm on, so I'll just >stop right now. So far, >your only arguments about Pac >the artist is that he >was 'real' and 'people felt >him.' That's cool and all, >but the skill level - >below par. Better character than >emcee, bottom line. Repetitive flow, >pedestrian lyrics, limited subject matter. >Not terribly innovative. Maybe a >people's champ. Hardly the GOAT. > Actually you also bought his personal life in the discussion as did I and your right lets talk about the skill aspect of Tupac.
#1 He had emotion and you could feel him through the speakers. Thats a very important trait for any performer to whether its rock r&b or rock. Its what seperates Marvin Gaye away from other r&b singers Prince and Michael Jackson.
#2 Delivery people say his delivey was reptitve that does not make any sense when you kick a rhyme people like to hear a pattern when you kick it thats wht keeps the head nodding. Also does that Rakim any less an MC because his flow hasnt change one damn bit last time I checked.
#3 Abiltiy to write songs you no as well as I do that Pac didnt just scream thuglife people over emphasis that shit. He was a dope song writer Dear Mamma, Brendas having a baby, Me and My girlfriend, I aint mad at you, Who do you beileve in, etc....
These are the reasons I say he is the greatest of alltime did he keep shit like lyrics of fury no but neither did Slick Rick and hes still one of my Goats. I hope now you understand where im coming from.
