avast is cool too. i used to fuck w/ avg but it seems like a resource hog.
encourage the use of chrome or firefox (w/ ad blockers, of course) to really knock the odds of pc-hiv transmission. but folks just love that clickin' on that blue "e", i guess
& if she STILL manages to fuck her pc up - just recover from the restore point (easy as hell to do w/ win7)
maybe its just me, but i setup a late-night daily defrag to take place (also easy as hell in win7) keeps things running smoothly (esp. for heavy d/l'ers *cough, cough*)
i love win7, and given microsoft's history of hit or miss, i rly don't see them outdoing it with win8, but anywho --
i also install teamviewer so when they call me they can cut thru the excuses & gimme the damn id / passcode to remote in.
