You have to you use their router...because it also functions as the modem. If you bypass their router to use your own router, you loose the Program Guide, widgets, and Video on Demand. I can do without the widgets and VOD, but having a Program Guide is pretty essential.
The WD MyNet 900 Central would have be perfect if it weren't for the limitations FiOS puts on you with their router requirements.
