"Ever work as a model?" Sat Jul-16-11 07:36 PM by Roadblock
Last winter while in the shopping mall a rep for a model agency scouted me. Dude approached & said I had a “look” they were looking for.
Been told in the past I should model…but never seriously considered it. I’m a reserved dude not an extrovert & rather play the background. Generally modeling is not my steez
BUT merely off the strength of numerous suggestions I took dude’s BI card & gave my info.
Since then, I’ve IGNORED numerous calls by this agency requesting I meet w/ their directors – even discarded the BI card.
Lately works been slow & ends are low (AKA I’m broke)
Got called again today by said modeling agency & finally called back to schedule an appointment for modeling work. Given my present state I figure if I can get paid for taking pictures - why not?
Funny how things change & rearrange…etc.
Now, I have no idea what to expect & have questions for those of you that model:
How did you get started modeling? What type of work did you do? Did it pay off – worth your time? Anything to be aware of? Could this be a scam?
