*before i get into this iPhone and iPod touch users.....i'd get the app called "credit score" it's free. and keeps tabs of your credit score for you.


starting in JAN i said i was going to more aggressively tackle my debt. i paid off a $3,700 card, etc.. i've been pulling my credit score at myfico.com for a while now. *google for coupon codes to use at myfico to reduce the prices. so it was going up a few points at a time. way back when i had a few collections that i paid off..before i got more credit aware. i thought once i paid them off, it was cool. i didn't realize a paid collection is pretty much as damaging as an unpaid one..score wise.

*now to save money, i get my transUnion report and score at crediKarma.com i think heavenlei told me about it. thanks. it's not a fico score, but u can check it once a day for free. and when that score goes up...i go get my FICO because i'm sure it moved at that point.

disputed the paid ones. 2 came off. not all of them did, tho. for example one paid in full collection didn't come off, so i wrote goodwill letters to them and the original creditor, emailed theme too...they still on there. yesterday i decided to call the original creditor...a cable company and was like "look, it was just $x, and i paid y'all directly, i ain't even know a collection agency was involved till i pulled my report, can't we delete that? it's hard for me to get a good rate on a purchase with that" yesterday they said they would have the collection agency delete it, here's to hoping they do.

i had a damn erroneous tax lien on my joint it popped up the beginning of december. got it fixed but it was still showing up as a paid/satisfied. took my 3 months of writing, calling, visiting courthouses, FINALLY got it expunged, and deleted.

the latest. i hit up some of my present creditors to see if they could delete any old late payments. like i got three from 2006 and a few from 05 and 07. the accounts are in good standing, but it still shows back then i had some late payments. 3 said we'll delete the lates, the rest said no.

i'll be hitting these other places up once a week or two weeks to keep leanin on them lol we'll see. sheeeit i read some old shit Zorasmoon posted in hustle about her how she brought her shit from the 5's to the 7's. got motivated. anyway i'm not bragging, i just know someone is reading this now and getting a bit motivated, like i did. so i'm tryna share & help. even illegals lil mini booker t's lookin ass http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqYxkhsta5E
