"why is gamestop stock CRATERING?"
I bought gamestop (GME) a couple of weeks ago after it went down like 8% in one day. I looked at basic financials, which just came out, that showed at worst reasonable losses. In short, the business looked solid, and it looked like stop was suffering from the market's caprices. Apparently I was wrong. Stock has fallen some 13% since I bought, and like I said, it was already down 8%. WTF? I can't find anything to indicate that the business is failing or anything like that. Is the market just fucking with gamestop or am I just stupid?
