not as good as an on the ball defender as gp2 was but not a dramatic dropoff. forces as many or more turnovers/steals...especially in crucial moments. better rebounder and keeps more offensive possessions alive with the board or the tip out to a teammate. better offensively in every way and gives the warriors another ball handler to run the offense and knock down big 3s. better at driving to the cup off the dribble and compromising the defense that way too.
steve kerr is also starting to trust him more in closing lineups.
they def upgraded that spot with this pickup.
hes only 25 too. i hope dude can find a way to stay long term.
