Now that I'm thinking about it, suppose the Nets could do a sign and trade in the off season if there's no interest in keeping Kyrie or if Kyrie is only interested in getting max dollars and/or max length on his next contract and the Nets are skittish in making that type of commitment.

Assuming the worse, I wonder what kind of return Kyrie would get in a trade; I have a feeling the Nets would lose and I have to guess the front office would be in win now mode rather than look to get future draft picks because of that Harden trade.
