I think Michigan fans, while disappointed in the lack of banners, are okay with how close they’ve come compared to the alternative. OSU’s made three Final Fours in the last 50 years, so if you have a coach that you think can get you even close to a Final Four in the next 5-10 years, you hang onto him like grim death. If OSU had some long history of basketball success, that’d be one thing. But they don’t.
If OSU doesn’t want Chris Holtmann, I’d GLADLY put him in the K replacement candidate list.
