2698800, I'm going with Blue

With Durant injured, he either stays with Boston and they trade for Davis or rejoins LeBron...unless Durant decides to leave Golden State and Kyrie doesn't mind waiting a year to be able to play with him...but by then Kyrie's knees might fail him and he could be out...so I think a reunion with LeBron is quite possible now.

And for the record, I'm a Lakers fan and would prefer to not have Kyrie rejoin LeBron, but I think it's going to happen.
2699901, I'm thinking...
Posted by Mack, Thu Jun-20-19 01:51 PM
that this is more and more likely with each passing day
2699903, would he want to be 3rd fiddle behind Bron AND AD?
Posted by ThaTruth, Thu Jun-20-19 01:56 PM
2699904, Probably not but
Posted by Mack, Thu Jun-20-19 01:58 PM
If not the Nets, then it's either the Lakers or the Knicks. I'm hoping that the Knicks continue to do Knicks things.

Especially with rumors that Brooklyn may be getting cold feet. It's going to be interesting....

2698922, I think it is as well. but I think he's going -somewhere- in NY
Posted by Dr Claw, Thu Jun-13-19 11:19 AM
probably Nets.

gonna be weird, unless Kyrie embraces life off the ball.

what would be dope (not happening, though): KD signs with Nets. comes back in 2020-21 season. Da Poo Poo of the league is eaten

that was what I was betting on until the dumbassery
2698931, yeah I feel like this KD injury will fuck with a lot of people's plans...
Posted by ThaTruth, Thu Jun-13-19 12:23 PM
nobody is got to want to go to another team and wait around a year or more for him to get back to 100% at age 32+
2698932, Kd will never be the same again, unfortunately
Posted by guru0509, Thu Jun-13-19 12:29 PM
>nobody is got to want to go to another team and wait around a

Only Dominique has come back from that
2698927, Kemba says he will take less money to stay in Charlotte

.
2698939, lol imagine tryin to save Jorn some money
Posted by SeV, Thu Jun-13-19 01:41 PM
he is a Jorn athlete so maybe they goin to work sutten out with that contract

but still

smh

DALLAS LAKERICKS LETS GO!!
2698943, if he likes Charlotte and wants to stay its understandable because...
Posted by ThaTruth, Thu Jun-13-19 02:20 PM
if he wants the "supermax" they'll probably let him walk, then where does he go?

Is there a situation out there that is going to guarantee him a ring?
2698951, Staying in Charlotte is a guarantee that he won’t get a ring ...
Posted by guru0509, Thu Jun-13-19 03:54 PM
>if he wants the "supermax" they'll probably let him walk,
>then where does he go?
>
>Is there a situation out there that is going to guarantee him

Since that’s the case he’d be silly to take a paycut....dirks dumbass did that for Cuban and the Mavericks are still garbage . No FA is going to Charlotte to play along w Kemba
2698952, personally, the “rings” obsession with the fans/media is old to me
Posted by DJR, Thu Jun-13-19 04:19 PM
If a player wants to stick with his team and max out what he can do there, I’m with it. As opposed to feeling pressured to go ring chase on someone else’s team because the fans will be trying to get their “lulz, no ringzzz” jokes off if you don’t.
2698953, right the whole "ring chasing" thing is hella annoying at this point...
Posted by ThaTruth, Thu Jun-13-19 04:30 PM
like I said is there anybody out there offering him a max deal that can guarantee him a ring?

He's been in Charlotte his entire career and appears to be content there so it makes sense to stay.

Outside of Lebron and KD who are 2 of the top 3 players in the game I can't really think of anybody that "ring chasing" has worked out for recently. Look at Chris Paul, not he's just a guy stuck on a team that's going nowhere with a huge contract that nobody wants.
2698972, cp3 is on a perennial contender making max $$$ at the end of his career.
Posted by Reeq, Thu Jun-13-19 06:52 PM
thats a win-win for him.

kemba leaving money on the table to stay with *charlotte*? lol cmon man.

2699007, His pockets will definitely be straight but he is stuck on a team...
Posted by ThaTruth, Thu Jun-13-19 09:47 PM
going down
2698955, same, im just saying Kemba is ridic for taking a pay cut

2698967, Who is offering him more? I haven’t heard one team say Kemba...
Posted by ThaTruth, Thu Jun-13-19 05:58 PM
tis a arget on their free-agent list. If say the Lakers whiff on everybody else and settle him then what? He gets to go be Lebron’s caddy and take all the blame when they lose. Or he can stay in Charlotte where he has been his entire career and be “the man”.

I know he’s from the NYC area but the Knicks aren’t looking too attractive if KD’s not coming. Knicks and the Nets appear to prefer Kyrie and Kemba could be a “consolation prize” but that playing “at home” shit can get old quick especially if you’re not winning. He’s loved in Charlotte and seems to be comfortable there.
2698974, this is silly.

>He gets to go be
>Lebron’s caddy and take all the blame when they lose. Or he

2698976, Or go to Dallas, be a contender AND bank for 4 years
Posted by B9, Thu Jun-13-19 07:40 PM
Dallas already has the pieces and space. Charlotte just has pieces and a hard sale to anyone else to come “build” with. He should run to the Mavs.
2698991, uh how is dallas a contender
Posted by Ryan M, Thu Jun-13-19 08:35 PM
2698992, They are a shit-ton closer than the Lakers or Charlotte
Posted by B9, Thu Jun-13-19 08:46 PM
Of the three teams after him, if he wanted a shot to actually win something, they are far closer than the rest.
2698993, So they're NOT a contender. Got it.
Posted by Ryan M, Thu Jun-13-19 08:49 PM
2699000, They’ll make a run before the Lakers will.
Posted by B9, Thu Jun-13-19 09:17 PM
Luka>dumpster fire.
2699905, 2 things.
Posted by Ryan M, Thu Jun-20-19 01:58 PM
1. Define a "run" please.

2. Let's figure out a bet because....yeah.
2699015, Yeah right lol
Posted by ThaTruth, Thu Jun-13-19 10:05 PM
2698954, is his agent master p?
Posted by Reeq, Thu Jun-13-19 04:33 PM
2698975, No way. That was gotcha journalism.
Posted by B9, Thu Jun-13-19 07:35 PM
He’s on his own in front of a bunch of CHA hometown reporters and gets asked that...what is he supposed to say? If he’s a smart guy, especially after Kd’s injury, he goes somewhere max.
2699194, he could sign for less than the supermax and still get more money...
Posted by ThaTruth, Fri Jun-14-19 08:45 AM
than he could from any other team.
2699191, I think the KD & Klay injuries make this more of a possibility.
Posted by ThaTruth, Fri Jun-14-19 08:44 AM
