2695460, he been taking swipes at Melo for years trying for some attention Posted by DJR, Wed May-08-19 10:08 PM
Boxing and making corny ass D-list generic mid 90s rap tracks are his lane. When did they let him start talking hoops and why? He’s terrible. There’s no way he ever played on an organized hoops team in his life, and he couldn’t hang with any hoops fan on this board in a discussion. He’s the guy at the bar whose comments I wouldn’t even acknowledge.

2695485, that's the problem when ESPN take specialty guys and try to pass... Posted by ThaTruth, Thu May-09-19 06:11 AM
them off as "experts" in other fields. Nobody wants to hear Stephen A talk about the NFL. On Fox nobody wants to here Shannon talk about the NBA or Skip talk about anything.
Even when TNT tries to take their NBA guys and put them on the NCAA tournament it doesn't really work.

2695500, I agree with you 100% The networks have made it clear that when it Posted by micMajestic, Thu May-09-19 08:53 AM

comes to sports reporting, the names are bigger than the game.

watching Larry Fitzgerald in his prime is watching the receiver position played with as much grace and technical skill possible. the way he moves and catches a football is as HOF as you can possibly get.
reducing him to numbers (as great as they are) is almost missing his brilliance entirely.

2695490, he lost coin flip in preproduction on which side to choose Posted by FunkyBoss, Thu May-09-19 07:18 AM
These shows formula are crazy wack, not that it’s a new thing. I think good morning football has more genuine opinions but who wants to watch a 3 hour show for 1 or 2 moments of realness

2695497, that's obviously what they do a lot of the time and its so trash Posted by ThaTruth, Thu May-09-19 08:47 AM
