Outside of a tournament, this rarely happens. You can waste years trying to prove something or focus on making the most money possible why you still have the opportunity. Errol was talking unification before he became a champ. As you mentioned earlier that man came in the ring to publicly challenge Shawn Porter right after his fight with Danny Garcia. Ultimately, Porter chose to fight Ugas. I don't think Porter is scared of anybody. If that fight happens next it is worth more money now. I don't see Thurman facing any of the top guys until later next year judging by his last performance. I'm just saying all four guys have to be willing and available to fight in order to unify. Thurman, Garcia, and Porter have been willing to fight each other. Just not Spence.
