When a blood clot in the upper extremities happens in the younger athletic population, it’s commonly in males involved in repetitive arm motion sports. He’ll likely be put on blood thinners and see if it resolves itself.
This is different than Bosh. He had persistent blood clots in his legs (much higher risk of breaking off and traveling to the lungs and heart) that wouldn’t resolve at all. That speaks to a systemic problem which requires lifelong meds.
