All eyes will be on the Etihad Sunday to see if Chelsea can reiterate their exploits from December, when they were the first team to beat City in the league (leading a to a very shaky few weeks for the title-holders). But with Aguero around this time the result could be very different. Chelsea do have a sharp-looking Higuain to help out Hazard, but if Fernandinho bosses the midfield that may not be enough.
Meanwhile Liverpool host Bournemouth and can ill advise another draw, no matter what happens on Sunday.

The Madrid derby is tomorrow morning, with Atleti struggling to get goals they'll likely resort to their traditional dark arts.

of dread.
2687255, Shades of cr7 @fulham from Tony Montana

2687271, back in the Top 4. Pogba looking Copa del Mundo-ish.
Posted by Castro, Sat Feb-09-19 10:12 PM
Ole Keebler got them balling and ready for Mbappe and NeyNey
2687307, we lost Cavani to injury yday
Posted by benny, Sun Feb-10-19 11:18 AM
we’re careening toward a Choupo-Moting start in our biggest game of the year, fuck yes. Not too late for Jesé to emerge from the darkness either
2687324, Yeah that sucks, but I feel like that frees up Mbappe and Ney.
Posted by Castro, Sun Feb-10-19 04:08 PM
They can be a bit more selfish and that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
2687334, neymar is out for a while too
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Sun Feb-10-19 05:21 PM
2687361, Welp, this is Mbappe's 2006 Messi vs. Real Madrid moment
Posted by Castro, Sun Feb-10-19 07:38 PM
2687415, I forgot to mention but Mbappe has sucked for a few weeks
Posted by benny, Mon Feb-11-19 11:01 AM
clearly this is his moment but I am not bullish. And neither is Tuchel, judging from how nervous he looked on Saturday
2687417, that is pressure of playing with two expensive prima donnas?
Posted by Castro, Mon Feb-11-19 11:23 AM
They never look like they are enjoying each other's success. And Mbappe always looks subdued (not unflappable, which he is by default, but subdued as if he doesn't want to do too much).

I don't think we will see the best of him until he is playing elsewhere. But with both of them out, he could provide a preview... Di Maria is healthy, right?
2687423, hmm sorta disagree

Mbappe and Neymar have been playing really well off each other with Neymar in his #10 role. If anything it's Cavani who was the odd one out. Since it's been proven that Kylian can't quite cut it as a #9 (for now), the idea was for him to bounce off Cavani, but it's not been going that well, at least by the high standards we have of him

At this point there's pretty much no choice. I just hope Tuchel finds a better way to utilize Choupo-Moting, who's close to a lost cause but he's all we have so...

>Di Maria is healthy, right?
Yup, and he tends to surge this time of year. Draxler has been good too. The issues are in front of the defense, where Verratti doesn't look completely fit after coming back from an injury. And the less said about Dani Alves the better
2687424, So Neymar isn't as much of a ballhog at PSG?
Posted by Castro, Mon Feb-11-19 12:14 PM
2687426, I mean, he's Neymar
Posted by benny, Mon Feb-11-19 12:27 PM
he still falls back to his hogging once in a while, but overall he's been much much better at accelerating play under Tuchel
2687306, cmon Chelsea wtf
Posted by benny, Sun Feb-10-19 11:15 AM
2687308, Give up the sticks chelsea
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Sun Feb-10-19 11:19 AM
2687313, Raheem Sterling is so good now, his evolution
Posted by calminvasion, Sun Feb-10-19 12:21 PM
Has been meteoric. So intelligent and the touch! Props to Pep and staff, that's player Development
2687317, Wow.
Posted by Buck, Sun Feb-10-19 01:42 PM
2687476, Also: Willifried Zaha needs to be on a different squad
Posted by Castro, Mon Feb-11-19 05:41 PM
It was like all of his teammates were being controlled by that dude who was playing FICA on the XBOX from the Atlanta Season 2 episode. They should have won 4-1 against West Ham.

Zaha got tired of setting them up and went scored and they end up with a draw.

I really feel like dude is top shelf striker or a #10....but gatdamn if any star in sports REALLY REALLY REALLY needs more help, its Zaha.
2687479, arsenal really should be signing him. kind of a nobrainer
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Mon Feb-11-19 06:15 PM
he isnt coming back to us. city and liverpool dont need him. just cant picture him at chelsea.
2687494, I thought he was gone during the summer transfer window
Posted by Castro, Mon Feb-11-19 09:02 PM
but Hodgson got Crystal to pony up the money for him...but its shameful watching him make magic and hand chances at the mouth of the goal to dudes who promptly kick the ball into the stands.
2687505, Good point, tho I doubt kroenke will ante up
Posted by dillinjah, Tue Feb-12-19 12:14 AM
2687480, He’s so good
Posted by bshelly, Mon Feb-11-19 06:22 PM
2687495, He got rid of twitter account. LOL.
Posted by Castro, Mon Feb-11-19 09:09 PM
Hopefully this is his last year with CPFC. Even if it means doing a year or two in Italy or Spain.
2688228, Chelsea left side making our right side actually look good.
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Mon Feb-18-19 03:22 PM
2688244, we really gotta sell Lukaku man.
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Mon Feb-18-19 04:22 PM
basically like playing a man down in attack w/ him. cant think of a single move he contributed to today

hopefully martial has a fortunate turn with his health for the liverpool game.
2688255, he actually fit Mou's style. not OGS's though.
Posted by PROMO, Mon Feb-18-19 06:43 PM
he gotsta go.

2688283, last season maybe. he's pure garbage under Jose and OGS this year
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Tue Feb-19-19 09:48 AM
2688287, You two are both crazy
Posted by B9, Tue Feb-19-19 10:40 AM
He's a right channel player with body of a 9. Mourinho wanted him to be purely a target striker, which he can do but isn't what suits him best, and OGS has actually moved him to wings to do what he does best: bring others into play. He has three goals and two assists under Solskjaer. The attack is built around Rashford and Pogba's interplay, as it should be, but that doesn't mean Lukaku is a negative asset that must be moved on. That would be Alexis.
2688291, both of them can go
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Tue Feb-19-19 11:58 AM
2688319, Liverpool starting Fabinho & Matip at CB
Posted by smutsboy, Tue Feb-19-19 02:32 PM
hoo boy.
