Magic and Rob kept him around because they believe he can be an All-Star. I don't see that out of him right now.
Mainly, I'm still thinking of the day when Lebron rolls out. Dude is, despite still playing at a great and high level, on the downside of his career. I was at the game, in ATL, when Kobe "badly" injured his left ankle. For him, it seemed to be all downhill after that. A month later, he ruptured that left Achilles.
All that to say, I just hope that smart decisions are made to keep the team in must-watch contending status for years to come.
