could he start serving the suspension?

lets say it's a 6 game suspension...
(which it shouldn't be anyway, if the 6 games is for domestic violence. This was a case of simple battery, a misdemeanor. I would think 4 games, tops.)

If only 4 games, he's starting for your team game 1 next year.

Obviously, it won't play out like that exactly, but he's playing next year and he's playing in 3/4s of the games if not more imo.

He's a great player. This type of talent doesn't just become
essentially an unrestricted Free Agent.


Does he need to be punished for his actions? Absolutely.
Suspended? Stripped of pay? Anger management classes?
Give money to organizations that help women who've suffered from assault and battery? all of that.


But guarantee you every GM has showed this to team owner
and said, let's go get him!
