I don't think his defense has always been pathetic, but for a "leader" he don't take no pride in sticking his man either. He's all too willing to switch.

Prolly part ego, cause he don't wanna be responsible for getting torched.

Prime example: two years ago, in the 'offs against the Celtics, Isaiah Thomas was having his way with the team. Wall kept switching off leaving Morris or Gortat on speedy ass Thomas. He shot over them, or drove around their slow asses.

Brandon Jennings of all people, stuck with Thomas on a few possessions like in Game 6 or so. And he STUCK him. Didn't let him drive. Didn't switch off. Thomas passed or took bad shots for a stretch. Brandon.Fucking.Jennings.

Wall should be doing those things. More nights than most. But he doesn't.
