Forget the o line issues. Giants fans were pissed when they rationally benched eli last season.

Football fans are stupid. They didn't want to see reality.

Now everyone sees it.

The reality is, most of his career he has been average or bad. Yet he will probably got to the HOF and the Giants got about what they could have hoped for out of that draft pick.

What a weird player and career.

What a weird stance to take for a guy talking shit online

Put it in context son

He went from throwing the most picks ever after the 2ndn superbowl to Alex Smith light

AND STILL

We defend this guy

What you know about that though?

Who are you?

You should, you got about what you could expect/hope for with the pick.

You sorry ass jets fan! LOL

(or whatever the fuck you rep)

Eagles already tapping out for this season cause they won last year (it's cool)

Eli won TWO in his tenure son

Yeah we hate his ass most of the time but we stick by our own because we know!

I don't know who your team is but they don't touch that

Actually, in retrospect, thank god for Eli…

Puts the biggest hole in Brady's resume. Fuck the Patriots!

Blocks Aaron Rodgers, including by outplaying him at Lambeau in the cold HAHAHAHA so embarrassing, fuck the Packers!

Also wins two rings to Rodgers one, exposing the leagues most technically proficient QB of all time as an overly anxious control freak who can't throw it unless he sees it.

Now he out here driving the Giants into the ground for the umpteenth year in a row and wasting annoying ass OBJ's rookie contract and part of Saquon's…IM LOVIN IT BROTHA

Lawd knows Eli even rewards his most ardent haters!

I'm honestly watching the game like…is this cracker fucking with us.

He has always kinda sucked but not in this particular way.

Did he just wake up one day and decide to suck in a new way.

His decline should look like Rex Grossman's not Matt Schlub's
2675342, That lastt line...coool blooded - Chappelle
Posted by SynsCei, Thu Oct-11-18 10:51 PM
He benefited from a GREAT defensive line to get him his rings...shits should be in zirconia
2675344, SORRY ENOUGH TO WIN TWO SUPER BOWLS....

FOH

He saved most NFL fans from two offseason of Tom Brady worship so that alone gives him enough credibility forever.
2675349, Trust the process

All of the talk about whether taking Barkley was the right decision is almost dead, and will be completely soon

NYG made the right pick

Tank this year and get your QB in the draft

NYG will have generational talents at RB and WR

All they have to do is hit on a QB in the upcoming draft

and this turns around real quick and gives them a chip window
2675351, they've spent years trying to fix the OL
Posted by smutsboy, Fri Oct-12-18 07:52 AM
they're gonna need to change that. They just cut a 1st round Left Tackle.
2675394, I think a more athletic QB fixes some of the OL issues
Posted by bentagain, Fri Oct-12-18 11:45 AM
ShEli taking 10yd dropbacks from his own 9, and fumbling at first contact = not the OL's fault
Forcing throws into tight windows, and the subsequent ints = not the OL's fault
EliFace holding the ball in the pocket, no escapability, etc...
Not the OL's fault
Barkley's putting together an unprecedented career start behind the same OL

Of course they can improve

But IMO, this is more about having an over the hill, immobile, pocket passer...than anything else

If I was ODB I'd be pissed too.
2675407, He fumbled before he was touched last night
Posted by legsdiamond, Fri Oct-12-18 01:52 PM
Dude is shook

A QB with a strong arm and a quick release will make the OL look better.
2675410, chicken and egg
Posted by smutsboy, Fri Oct-12-18 02:03 PM
I think Collinsworth was right that since the OL is so bad, the offense is effectively barred from calling anything except 3 step drops.

That makes an offense bad, predictable, and an old, immobile QB like Eli a sitting duck.

I agree that a better, mobile QB can make a line look better (though we're looking at one of the worst in the league).

But considering they're still with Eli, it would have really been in their interest to not totally blow their attempts to build and OL over the past 5 seasons or so.

Even if they draft the next Mahomes, they're still gonna need an OL that is at least mediocre.
2675377, as said elsewhere, he seriously needs to retire
Posted by Dr Claw, Fri Oct-12-18 10:58 AM
there's nothing left for him to prove. He kept the Cheaters from having 2 Super Bowls, and erased their perfect season. We already know he's not Peyton. When NSP was out there with the Donkeys barely able to throw he still was able to make the proper decision on the field

Giants are either playing the long con or they're clueless
2675431, RE: as said elsewhere, he seriously needs to retire
Posted by COOLEHMAGAZINE, Fri Oct-12-18 06:54 PM
What do you want them to do, cut him midseason?
2675439, run Eli run...

2675479, People shit on Eli before he won 1
Posted by DJR, Sat Oct-13-18 04:34 PM
Then they got butt hurt and embarrassed and said it was a fluke and he got lucky.

Then he won another.

And those same people got more butt hurt and got laughed at even harder.

Now it’s the end of his career and those same fools are all over him like scavengers to finally not have their point thrown back in their face.

He got 2 though. 2. Probably 2 more than most of your guys.
