2674609, Dear Wilks and McCoy...
Posted by adg87, Thu Oct-04-18 09:44 AM
Do not attempt to appear smarter than you are and please put your players in a [psoition to win a game.
2674621, yikes @ the Colts injury report this week
Posted by HecticHavoc, Thu Oct-04-18 10:24 AM
OUT
TE Jack Doyle - Hip (DNP)
T Denzelle Good - Not Injury Related - Personal Matter (DNP)
WR T.Y. Hilton - Chest/Hamstring (DNP)
RB Marlon Mack - Hamstring (DNP)
CB Kenny Moore II - Concussion (DNP)
DT Hassan Ridgeway - Calf (DNP)
CB Quincy Wilson - Concussion (DNP)
2674626, going to have trouble, I think
Posted by will_5198, Thu Oct-04-18 10:43 AM
no deep threat makes it really hard on Reich's offense. Doyle's absence is felt on 3rd downs and red-zone situations, since Ebron is less reliable (see: Indy's struggles against Philly).

I like Nyheim Hines but him with Mack would be a heck of a lot more dangerous...defenses would have to respect the flats because either guy can turn a swing pass into 20 yards.
2674622, if the cowboys beat the texans i will be surprised
Posted by mista k5, Thu Oct-04-18 10:26 AM
it seems that a good pass rush and a mobile QB gives the cowboys trouble every time. texans seem to be improving week to week, i wouldnt say the texans are better than the panthers but it would be the cowboys best win so far in this young season.

hoping zeke is healthy and plays a full game. i still think they need to keep running 50-60% of the time and keep going for deep passes. hopefully the receivers make catches this week.
2674623, im looking forward to this game
Posted by HecticHavoc, Thu Oct-04-18 10:36 AM
both teams need this win
2674629, i dont trust the cowboys to make it a good game
Posted by mista k5, Thu Oct-04-18 10:47 AM
either it will be a sloppy ugly game that either team wins or the texans blow them out.
2674668, Or Cowboys dominate first half
Posted by SynsCei, Thu Oct-04-18 01:08 PM
and crumble in second half (ala Rams game last year).
2674678, nah they just stink it up for a whole game now
Posted by mista k5, Thu Oct-04-18 02:54 PM
maybe give some hope in the last 5 minutes only to fall short.
2674625, Winner's season isn't completely lost

2674645, point differential is quite interesting
Posted by mista k5, Thu Oct-04-18 11:31 AM
all teams, except the eagles, that have a positive differential are currently in 1st or 2nd in their division.

i would put my money on teams with positive differentials regardless of record. i would say teams around 10 plus or minus of even still have much to prove. teams with greater then minus 10 differential are cooked.

this is all just a guess, no idea how this has played out in previous seasons. curious to see how it goes this season.
2674651, Big Ben or Andrew Luck in fantasy?
Posted by legsdiamond, Thu Oct-04-18 12:02 PM
Luck had a great game last week. I missed out on it and lost. I think NE is going to win this game so Luck will prolly be playing from behind and throwing a ton

But I KNOW the Steelers will be in a shootout vs ATL and both these D’s suck.

Leaning towards Ben
2674655, It's hard to bet against a QB playing the Falcons
Posted by Marauder21, Thu Oct-04-18 12:12 PM
And as likely as it is that Luck's going to be playing from behind, Atlanta will score points against Pittsburgh. So they'll have to throw, too.
2674656, i would go ben
Posted by mista k5, Thu Oct-04-18 12:14 PM
playing against atlanta is a guaranteed shoot out as is playing against the steelers. that should be a very high scoring game.

patriots are a tricky match up, they will some times allow other offenses to go off but many times they shut them down.
2674669, im debating between Luck and Wentz
Posted by HecticHavoc, Thu Oct-04-18 01:10 PM
I still think Luck... he is LOCKED. IN. he tore it up without T.Y last week. and he'll probably throw 50x being down against the Pats.
2674676, Mahomes vs Jags or Rodgers vs Lions?
Posted by Marbles, Thu Oct-04-18 02:49 PM

I'm kinda stuntin' right here. I feel like I got a win-win situation this week.
2674681, always Mahomes until he proves he cant score huge
Posted by HecticHavoc, Thu Oct-04-18 03:28 PM
thats a damn good qb situation to be in tho. im sure Godgers will dominate the Lions but you gotta keep rollin w Mahomes
2674688, That's where I was leaning. Another opinion helps tho. n/m
Posted by Marbles, Thu Oct-04-18 04:16 PM
2674712, Grady Jarrett is out Sunday, if you don't go Ben you're an idiot
Posted by Ray_Snill, Fri Oct-05-18 01:31 AM
that's 5 starters for the Falcons out and our starting DT is a guy just signed off the street the other is a rookie. our SS is a nickle corner and we have 2 rookies LBs starting.

Posted by Marauder21, Fri Oct-05-18 12:30 PM
Though I think games missed is kinda bullshit and not really on the player. It's not like Luck intentionally wrecked his shoulder in 2016.

I can't believe Ryan Tannehill was drafted the same year as Luck and he's still on another make or break year, though.

Posted by Frank Longo, Sun Oct-07-18 01:03 PM
Jags just ran all the way down the field, had a 3rd and 2 at the 4-yard line... and they go five wide receivers and pass. Then on 4th, another pass. SMH. KEEP FUCKING RUNNING.
2674887, smh...Ben been in the league too damn long to make that dump throw

2674888, Bortles Bortlin'
Posted by Dstl1, Sun Oct-07-18 01:32 PM
.
2674889, I don’t blame him. KC is living in the backfield.
Posted by Frank Longo, Sun Oct-07-18 01:35 PM
He was getting hit on both picks IIRC. When he’s had time, he’s thrown some beauties. But yeah, Jags OL is getting tossed. And the pass play calls on that first red zone possession were BRUTAL.

What sucks is now we’re so far behind that Bortles will have to pass. And with KC’s pass rush so effective, we haven’t seen the last turnover. Shitty situation.
2674892, he's playin like shit dude
Posted by HecticHavoc, Sun Oct-07-18 02:04 PM
that screen pass INT was awful. the red zone performance was terrible even before that tipped pick.
2674895, Yeah, we know he doesn’t play well under pressure.
Posted by Frank Longo, Sun Oct-07-18 02:17 PM
But I’m not sure any QB would be playing well when he’s getting hit or pressured nearly every play, that’s my point. The O-line has been dominated all game.
2674891, Case Keenum fucking sucks. Elway is a terrible QB evaluator
Posted by HecticHavoc, Sun Oct-07-18 02:03 PM

2674894, totally. Roby has been getting torched, but Darnold is the man
Posted by HecticHavoc, Sun Oct-07-18 02:07 PM
this offense just cant go anywhere -- always a nightmare for a defense getting 5 minutes to rest each series
2674901, not just Roby, man...Crowell and Powell have over 300 yards rushing

2674906, LOL...104 yard INT return, needed 105...
Posted by Dstl1, Sun Oct-07-18 03:18 PM

2674991, RE: Case Keenum fucking sucks.
Posted by smutsboy, Mon Oct-08-18 11:15 AM
was this up for debate? Keenum is replacement level at best.
2674896, Baker cant catch a break. receivers droppin everything
Posted by HecticHavoc, Sun Oct-07-18 02:37 PM
2674897, Bortles is shook at this point.
Posted by Frank Longo, Sun Oct-07-18 02:37 PM
He’s tired of getting hit.

And as I was writing this, he threw another pick. Another defender absolutely breathing down his neck.

Game’s over. Protect your goddamn QB.
2674898, Cam throws into triple coverage, incidental collision going for the ball
Posted by DJR, Sun Oct-07-18 02:40 PM
And it’s a penalty for “unnecessary roughness”. What a joke this league is. These calls need to be reviewable. Refs don’t even know what a penalty is anymore.

Also, why in the fugg can we not get a pass rush going? Man, this D-line is truly deficient. Old Man Suggs is doinghis best to help these young bammas eat.

Posted by bshelly, Mon Oct-08-18 07:46 AM
defense wasn't great but played more than well enough against the best wideout duo in the league.

the oline has reached legitimate dismay status. lane looks cooked. peters is either cooked or slow to recover from the knee injury. if both those dudes got old in the offseason, we won't be much more than a .500 team.

Posted by CyrenYoung, Tue Oct-09-18 02:19 PM
..New England slides right back into the driver's seat without missing a beat, while the rest of the AFC East fights to remain relevant.

The Bengals continue to reign king of the AFC North, as the Titans & Jaguars both stumble while holding claim to the AFC South.

Lol @ every team in the NFC East losing this week.

The Saints continue their typical fast start in the NFC South, while Chicago maintains 1st place in the North on a bye.

Still, the story of the season belongs to two historic franchises. Each, rich in success and starving for a championship. At 5-0, the LA Rams and the Kansas City Chief's are the last of the undefeated. With both teams facing tough defenses on the road this week, their resolve will surely be tested.

What say you?
