He's been sort of ignored playing next to Jaquan Johnson the past two years (high school teammates even), but he definitely had the better season on the field. Feisty backline defender who is aggressive and under control at the same time. Love how he fills downhill, and closes ground quickly from two-high. Reliable tackler once he arrives, too -- while he lacks size (6'1, 195) he makes up for it with smart technique. He lassos bigger players, wraps up, and makes his big hits when he can.

What he does best is also what hurts him the most. He gets tunnel vision with what's in front of him, and can't feel the threats materializing behind. Obviously this is most pronounced in coverage -- he is easy bait for play-action, and route combinations that attack different levels give him hell.

But I like his style. He adds some attitude to your defense, and makes enough plays to earn some snaps.

+ Flies around but keeps his wits at the tackle point; a dependable stopper even when outsized
+ Old-school enforcer between the hashes who loves dislocating passes from receivers

- Gets manipulated in coverage and quick to vacate space for backdoor routes
- Not the biggest safety for his style of play
- Ball skills are mediocre (three interceptions, but only one pass break-up this season)
