So, I hope Showtime picks up Lampley, Jones Jr., and Kellerman.
But I'm sad to see HBO boxing go, they put out the best product by some distance.

Lately. He can't hide his bias. He is largely responsible for people thinking Canelo didn't win the last fight against GGG. I had to have a friend watch the replay with the volume off, just to get a perspective of the fight without Lampley droning on.
Also did the same thing with Floyd, and perpetuated the myth that Floyd was overrated or boring because he had defense.
HBO is iconic, but the change won't be bad.

Bernstein, Ward, and Paulie are the only other good commentators out there right now as far as I can tell. And while ya'll are shitting on Lampley, no one has anything bad to say about Max or Roy.

...and let's not forget Larry Merchant's senile a$$ being on the air at least a decade too long...
So they and Lederman's bull$hit cards are who is immediately associated with HBO boxing
Look at how they did PBF
According to HBO, he never won a fight being defense first and primarily a counter puncher
Yet somehow dude is undefeated and one of the GOATs

Initially many including HBO were openly critical of the PBC platform bringing boxing to network television. PBC has recently signed a 4 year deal with Fox and a 3 year extension with Showtime. Meanwhile HBO.....
