I mean I get it, it's his career, he has to look out for what's best for him in terms of how soon he can get on the playing field etc, so if he thinks he can see the field at UGA quicker than in Columbus, more power to him.
But part of me wonders if this is a lack of willingness to compete for a starting job? All through recruitment you hear these kids say "IDC whos on the depth chart ahead of me , I'm a competitor blah blah I'm out to win the job etc" and then they do this bc of the slightest inkling that someone may come in (Fields/Hurts/whatever transfer) and usurp what they considered to be rightfully theirs...
