I can understand from a woman's perspective why, since they go through the whole physical act of carrying the baby and/or babies for nine months and want to celebrate anything pertaining to the act.
Perhaps I have my single man status blinders on, but I personally don't see why you'd want to share a gender reveal party outside of those that are absolutely kin or blood related to the baby. Then again, I'm a private dude in general, so that probably has something to do with that as well.
I haven't clicked on the original link yet, but broadcasting this across social media just ups the level of insanity to me.
