Chicago fills their perceived need for an experienced winger with dead legs and their very real need for a solid backup goalie.

Roussel to Vancouver I think is an underrated signing. They needed some muscle since Dorsett's abrupt retirement and here they get a guy who can score some, too. I would not be surprised to see him set some career highs, nothing crazy, just a little better than he has done in the past.

Hutton to Buffalo is interesting. We will see if he is for real or not. He will face a lot of rubber up there. Also interesting to me from a Blues' perspective. Maybe he wanted the chance to be anointed the starter? I don't see why they wouldn't keep him in the fold, he outplayed Allen last year and they were priced where they could have been kept as a tandem if they didn't want to commit fully.
