Jordan actually made his teammates better...he pushed them to improve and aim for excellence...even sometimes at the expense of alienating them (Kerr). And they still loved and revered him for it. They all worked harder because of and for him and when he took his break...that success was still sustainable...to a degree.

They needed him to win it all.

And mind you, they added some offensive firepower they didn't have the year prior in Kukoc which helped ease the offensive burden and BJ Armstrong developed (thanks to MJ as well).

While on the other hand, Bron is like a f*cking black hole of dependency. He refuses to take his foot off of the usage pedal because he's hella pressed to correct the mistakes of Finals past, as he chases a ghost he can only catch by winning.

So when his stat hounding ass departs a city, it's worse for ware BECAUSE he was there. He has to make every pass, get every rebound, score a bulk of the points. Yet, he wanted to run away from taking the blame and STILL does (broken hand cuz you punched a wall in the midst of the finals?...you f*cking idiot).

So instead of his teammates actually getting better because of his presence, they flail and flop when he leaves because of his excessive need to be depended on.

Playoff Bron is essentially the non-scowling version of Westbrook. He, in essence, makes his team mates LAZY and less than they could actually be. But because he does, it masks all the deficits of the squad and so they win, with the east being so weak, and it worked well enough to get them to the finals, where 'anything can happen'. A suspension or injury and tides change rapidly.

And let's stop acting like LeBron James is coachable. He's not. He's likable, talented and a cash cow so organizations let him do what he wants. Coaches consult him and it started as a rookie because the Cavs had no idea how to handle a talent that bright.

Even Jordan had to be coached up and change his approach a bit to be more successful. But because Bron is uncoachable, he's fallen short of what he could have been.

So, with that said, LeBronon, pray that your king goes somewhere that has a few other allstars that he's comfortable with and coach willing to shrink and let Bron run the show. Because father time stalking him and he's running out of opportunities. The league is targeting both him and the Warriors and they've almost caught up with Bron.

Right today, there's only a handful of scenarios that gets LeBron 2 more rings. And even THOSE are shrinking.

Ultimately, history respects winners and accomplishments not losers and excuses.

You want this throne...come take it.

Otherwise, keep crying about teammates and sit beneath it for all time.
