Kuz, Hart and Zo roasting each other all season has been very entertaining. As a Lakers fan, it's an encouraging- and endearing- sign.

They feel like a genuine team and I think that chemistry is going to carry over next season as everyone develops.

Further, this is being done in a way that's decidedly unlike the Swaggy P/DLo fiasco.

As far as I'm concerned these guys are developing a culture of camaraderie. This should only be an issue if/when it becomes a distraction and/or they don't develop into a winning team.

If they wind up on on some D12 shit three-four years from now and don't know how or when to hit the off switch, then we'll talk.

Brawn shouldn't be trying to join a team of kids like this. Houston or San Antonio is the spot for a man of his tenure and his position.

Personally I want to let these kids cook, exactly as they are.

Kuz has legit comedy chops that Zo lacks.

Rob are not going to let him come in and call shots and sign Bron to a 1+1 contract and trade away all our young talent for some overpriced vets just to get Bron one more ring.

GS is the clear favorite for at least one more season before they have to make some hard decisions.

Bron is at his best ever but unless he is on a Barry Bonds regimen his production will probably start to slide in a couple of years. He'll still be good but not make any team instant contender good.

I think Magic and Rob are definitely interested but they don't have all their eggs in the "Lebron or bust" basket.

Yes, and they immediately improved on said mess.

Losing hand? We've improved on our winning percentage two years in a row, in good strides at that. Skipping steps in a rebuild at a time when there's a stranglehold on that top spot is risky.

Boston, GS and OKC all built themselves organically, and that's the blueprint we should be following.

Calling the current roster a "losing hand" assumes no further significant growth from any player, and that's a foololish assumption.

Yes, for a couple of years, before he moves on, after having held our feet to the fire, demanding absurd contracts for moderately talented Klutch players.

It's a better long term strategy to build slowly, incrementally, so that we're hitting a stride with young players in teo to three years when GS is older and, hopefully, in a mortal state.

Because it's not about "today", it's about building a team that's competitive long term instead of trying to hotshot our way into contending, likely for second place, while GS is on a tear.

If this were Brawn three-four years ago, or multiple players in their primes at the same time, yeah. You go for it. But going all in on a guy in his 16th season while GS is on god mode takes a risk of playing for second.
