2662451, LeBronies: A Peace Offering
Posted by Dr Claw, Sat Jun-09-18 03:09 PM
Citizens of LeBronon, after recent events, your proud nation-state is under an existential threat.

For the last few years, we have kept at best, a detente due to the migration of your ruler to the franchise that I hold dear. I offer today that this goes to a full armistice treaty for the remainder of the NBA career of one LeBron R. James, the greatest and perhaps most unique individual talent we will ever see in the history of the league. Despite our disagreements over items such as the Kyrie Irving Matter, our enemies are mutual and numerous.

As I can not claim membership of the LeBrony Tribe, particularly during the period where he took his talents to South Beach, I can only offer support when the dum-dums in the back strike extra hard with the meme bombing, the nuance-free discussion, so on and so forth. The seemingly endless arms support from Jordanites, now emboldened by the decreased threats to their reign only complicates the matter.

Ahead of any "Decision" made by Your King, M.A.D. will support his next move contingent on his refusal to align with The New Death Star in Walnut Creek, I mean... Oakland or wherever in The Bray Area they decide to settle after this.

The finest, most precision lined warheads of HATE are at your disposal, compliments of yours truly.

2662573, LeBron would make the Warriors worse

2662537, that would be too much of an agenda clash
Posted by Dr Claw, Sun Jun-10-18 12:46 PM
but I think even the staunchest LeBron fans would feel betrayed if he went to that team to the point they might break ties.

I know in THAT situation I'm rooting for Boston all the way

can't see LeBron doing that. He ain't Durant.

As resident Prime Minister of LeBronon aka the Kang Dynasty - we recognize the existential threat in the West posed by an unprecedented, unsavory and cowardice stacking of talent. No longer are we interested in engaging in mutual assured destruction with our former enemies who fought valiantly (yet viciously) during the 4-year War that saw LeaveLand & Key BisKang Boulevard Route 1A entrenched in brutal warfare.

That unsightly war was ended when the Cleveland Renaissance prophecy was both foretold and fulfilled with the most historic title (Rang of all Rangs) in NBA History unveiling itself in 2016. As such, we are forever reminded of our alliance which we deem a warm friendship and eternal bond in the pantheon of GOAT Greatness.

Regardless of where LeGod James goes this offseason - we intend to keep our alliance intact - channeling the 2016 Land Nostalgia throughout the echoes of basketball eternity.

Finally, we bring good word from Above that there will be no Sith alive (or dead in the netherworld) that could tempt the GOAT Jedi - Obi-Kang BathSaltine- to join forces with the Empire and become another fixture in the DeathStar Machine.

If a move from Cleveland does materialize, we have solid intel that it will be for the sole purpose of ending this evil Empire and bringing justice, truth & equilibrium back into the universal order - so that all things good and kangly can enlighten the entire world with royal auric Lion-hearted good will and fortune.

Signed, The Hand of the Kang, Vexedly Brawnimus Prime.

My preference would be:

(1) Philly. The degree of difficulty here would be fairly high (to win a title) compared w/ the other choices - but I think it would be the most rewarding. I also think it would be an incredibly electric atmosphere in Philly - a city starved for a title - and Bron/Simmons/Embid would have a lot of fun. My only concern here would be to retain the snipers (Belli/Reddic/Covington) and have enough to attract another veteran -- also - I have some concerns that simmons/embid might still be too green to compete w/ GS - but I think their growth is fast-tracked w/ Bron there.

(2) Houston. I just think that this is the easiest plug & play model for Bron -- and a place where he's immediately thrust into a championship caliber team on day one. I don't have any doubt that if healthy and retained - Houston wins the title next year w/ Bron. That said - I do o have concerns about CP3's health and Harden's ability to coalesce w/ Bron - as I don't see Harden as a guy who really moves off of the ball well. He seems to always need to dominate the ball - or else he just stands in the corner. But I think he and Bron could master the two-way give & go play and there might not be a more potent scoring combo in the league.

(3) San Antonio. If Kawhi was healthy and motivated - this would be my first choice. I want Bron to play in a great system to end out his career - and Pop is brilliant at elongating careers and the Spurs have an immense winning culture - always competing at a high level no matter who is on the court. With a healthy Kawhi, Bron, Aldridge and some great role players - they would be as talented as anyone in the league.

(4) Boston. The Bron-Boston beef is real - and I can't see this happening because of the fresh wounds Boston is licking after being dominated by LeBron for nearly a decade - but if both sides could come to an agreement - this would be the most balanced and dynamic roster in the League - and I think they would beat GS next year.

Where I don't want to see him go: Golden State (obviously won't happen) - and the Lakers. I see both of those teams/cultures being horrible for Bron.

>I would watch the shit out of “Vex: The Decision.”

haha. Anybody but Jim Gray.

2662515, I honestly think that for ALL the marketing, the PR, and his place as

one of the most recognizable stars of sports... there is more Skip Baylessing/Jamboning their way about him than not, particularly in the NBA brass. I usually don't pay it mind, but the undertones are pissing me off now.

I hope he goes full Kobe after this
2662559, yea i want to see LeBron savage his critics again like this:

They don't deserve civility.

2662579, lol. you know what's funny about that

KD is making those kind of comments now in response to what I'm sure is going to be some of that GOOD OL' MIAMI HEAT.

LeBron, from that point, I think learned a little more how to respond to this kind of questioning with composure. not only because it's from 7 years ago, but I can tell the difference between then and now.

I hope he realizes he has nothing to lose now
2662910, This interview turned me into a Lebron fan

2662641, they ruined the whole season with Game 1.
Posted by legsdiamond, Mon Jun-11-18 12:09 PM
besides watching Durant go crazy in game 3 this series was trash

can't no one tell me that wasn't some Vegas shit. Prolly woulda seen a few casinos lights go out if the Cavs won game 1.

2662930, let's not go crazy.. GS was winning either way
Posted by LegacyNS, Tue Jun-12-18 11:20 PM
and the refs didn't miss a potential game winning FT. The refs didn't make JR drink Henny during timeout. The refs didn't make LeBron pout like a 8 year old instead of getting his mind right for OT.
