The Oklahoma City Thunder have agreed to trade Carmelo Anthony and a protected 2022 first-round pick to the Atlanta Hawks for point guard Dennis Schroder and Mike Muscala, league sources tell ESPN.
Anthony will be waived, making him a free agent. The Houston Rockets are the front-runner, sources told ESPN.
Muscala, meanwhile, will be moved onto a third team in the near future, sources said.
The 2022 pick is protected 1-14, and becomes two second-round picks if not conveyed in one year.
