IT's tribute was originally scheduled for january 3rd.
but because it was the 2nd game of a B2B and he wasn't playing, he requested the celtics reschedule it. prolly cause he wanted to show out and drop 30 on them, rather than just wave to the crowd and KIM.
and their only other return trip happened to fall on the same day as pierce's jersey retirement.
even if you think pierce is being petty, it's in response to some shit that the other guy caused. and caused out of pettiness!
not sure why he's the one getting the brunt of the criticism. why does he need to be the bigger man?
