have to do shit for him. IT's ego and pending max contract demands is reason Boston shipped him out. That same ego wanted to have his tribute on a day when he was 100% so his family could see him drop 30 and stick it to the team that traded him.

But IT doesn't get to call those shots, Ainge should've told him that up front but like Paul said Ainge got punked. After dealing with Paul as a player for 10+ years through good times and bad Ainge, should know what a crybaby Paul is and that he wouldn't like IT's tribute being on his day.

Both are acting like spoiled brats. It's like someone telling you their getting you a gift and instead of saying thank you instead you say "I don't want that I want something else!"

Also for the record it was Paul Pierce himself who brought Kobe's name up...:

"The 10-time NBA All-Star, who spent 15 years in Boston, referenced Kobe Bryant’s dual-number retirement with the Lakers as an example of what he hopes to see.

“I had a chance to watch Kobe’s, and throughout the game and timeouts, they were a lot of tribute videos for him,” Pierce said. “I enjoyed to watch that throughout the game. Hopefully, now, the Boston Celtics will do that for me. I’m not sure I want to see an Isaiah video that night.”"

those are HIS word, even in retirement he's still trying to compare himself to Kobe lol...
