2637103, Playoffs maybe...not the finals Posted by auragin_boi, Tue Jan-09-18 08:45 AM
The team that was supposed to win, usually does. We've rarely had a finals upset.
Tribeca (39-19, 297.7) beat Cerritos (27-31, 278.6) Houston (39-19, 290.9) beat Stanley (36-22, 283.1) LA (34-28, 258.2) beat Iowa City (35-27, 260.4) (slight upset) South Texas (35-27, 265.4) beat Coney Island (44-18, 282.6) (upset and probably the biggest one based on regular season but Robe's team was on fire going into the 'offs) Duval County (44-18, 294.7) beat East River (35-27, 265.7)
So one major upset in the last 5 years. And the way I see it, with so many high powered White Conference teams, no matter who makes it, they should be heavy favorites.
I get it though, you have to rep Black and you're the defending champ.
Cool.
